Welcome to my cello studio! If you'd like to learn a little bit more about me, read on...
When I was 9, my parents bought me my first half-size cello and I began that exciting journey of learning to play the cello. I took lessons for 11 years with a cellist from the Florida Orchestra, who patiently instilled her love for music and this beautiful instrument into me.
At the age of 11, I joined my first student orchestra. Since then, I've played in seven different orchestras, many of which were for hire.
When I was 12, some fellow musicians and I started a string quartet which soon turned into a wedding business we now call The King's Musicians. We've played for many weddings and other events as well.
About seven years ago, I got my first cello student and discovered that it can be so much fun to pass on this love for music to other young students! Now, my studio is growing and I hope your child (or you) would also enjoy being a part of it.
Currently, I teach cello in my home studio in Odessa three days a week, and one day a week, I teach my Lutz location. I also play for worship at Lakeshore Bible Church on a weekly basis, and play for occasional weddings and other events as well.
I am blessed beyond measure to be able to play and teach this wonderful instrument! The glory and praise belongs to God, the giver of talent. I could not be who I am or where I am apart from him.
